TEKSTAR, a registered trademark of Tekstilci Tekstil, is based in Istanbul and operates cutting-edge production facilities in Istanbul and Sinop, Turkey. Over the past two decades, we have successfully delivered over 70 million products worldwide, partnering with renowned global and local brands.
Since 2006, we have specialized in manufacturing corporate wear, premium promotional items, workwear, and accessories. Our garments meet rigorous international standards, uphold environmental and social responsibilities, customized to your brand’s unique needs.
Through our factories in Sinop, TEKSTAR supports gender equity and women’s participation in the workforce, aligning with our sustainability mission. We offer employment opportunities to local women, contributing to the community’s economic growth.

Founder / CEO.
Aykut Tarakçıoğlu was born in İzmir in 1971 and graduated from Ege University’s Faculty of Textiles Engineering in 1993. Following the completion of his university education, he embarked on his professional career, as a representative of an international trade company. Aykut Tarakçıoğlu worked in NY until 2000, at which point he established his own companies: Tekstar USA LLC, Tekstilci Tekstil San. Tic AS. And Tekstar Tekstil San. Tic. AS. Additionally, he holds a master’s degree in fashion design, in which Prof Dr. Hulya Tezcan was his thesis supervisor and currently preparing a book titled “Investigation of Clothing in the Ottoman Palace.”
He also serves a lecturer at several universities and is active member of the Turkish Clothing Manufacturers Association, ITKIB (Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters’ Associations), TMMOB (Chamber of Textile Engineers), DEIK (Foreign Economic Relations Board), Bornova Anatolian High School Alumni Association, Ege University Alumni Association, and Galatasaray Club Congress is active member.
He is also proudly father of Kaan Tarakçıoğlu who is 16 years old.
